I felt like while the woman with the prosecutor/judge duty is talking, it is flashing forward to the near future where all the soldiers get beaten up and the woman with the voluminous curly hair bewitched the blonde man to shoot himself. I'm sure if we're a little more patient, we'll find out soon enough anyway, guys. :)

I love how this really has a structure which would fit a double page spread for a book , I hope you get to print the story out when there are enough chapters out! ;)

So the last couple pages have me a little confused. The panels concerning the lady- are they happening at the same time, or did they happen at an earlier time? It looks sort of like the soldier who got killed before but I am assuming it is a different character, probably the character from the locket who got killed and this is a flash back for what happened to him?

Just wanted to make that clear for myself if you could help :)

God, these characters just send chills down your spine in every kind of way- it's so incredible, and reading this chapter after the first is almost like whiplash. Amazing, amazing, amazing!

This kinda reminds me of the French Revolution, what with the citizens taking matters in their own hands. And Montmarte is awesome, in the way she uses words and is a totally beastly, cross-dressing ginger. And the crazy woman's hair makes me want to grow my hair out again.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've been reading, the Lawyer is trying to shame, or at least get them to see WHY they need to have guards on them. Right? I mean that's what I've been getting from her speech but watching as citizens take matters into their own hands. They're fighting and causing MORE chaos instead of protecting. And killing the guards/soldiers is making them look like beast. Which is what she's trying to say...right?

I'm sorry. I am a bit confused...*shame face*
